Trail Reports for Mercer Wisconsin
February 1, 2012
For the most part trails are in good condition at this point, aside from railroad grade (Trail 17) through town and intersections which are in fair to poor condition. The warm temps and wind yesterday did not help and we definitely need more snow soon, but with all that being said, trails are still rideable, the Mercer Sno-Goers have been out and are getting through all the swamp areas now and you will find better conditions in the outlying trails. Unfortunately it looks like mid 30 temps are upon us for the rest of the week so conditions may change in a hurry. We will keep you posted.
This Saturday is the cross country snowmobile race out on the Turtle Flambeau Flowage beginning at the Hideaway at 9AM along with other great events so be sure to check www.MercerCC.com for information.
Reminder to all atv riders: ATV's are welcome on designated winter ATV trails only and must refrain from riding
when temperatures rise above 30 degrees in order to protect the trail base.
MECCA SKI TRAIL CONDITIONS
