April 30, 2008- Early Cinco de Mayo Celebration at the Hideaway . Come join the festivity as they introduce the NEW Mexican menu that will be featured on Wednesday nights with a taste of authentic Mexican food, complimentary chips with homemade salsa, and mouth watering margaritas. 

May 10, 2008- Annual Mercer Town Clean-up Day starting at 9AM. All downtown residents and business owners are invited to help "Clean Up Downtown" by sprucing up yards, walkways, buildings, and alleyways. . Any individuals wanting to help clean up are welcome too! Join us afterwards at 11:30AM for a complimentary burger at The Pines and bring a dish to pass along with your own beverage. 

May 17, 2008- Mercer Fire Department Golf Tourney Fundraiser at Tahoe Lynx Golf Course in Mercer. $25/Person, $100/Team. Shotgun start at 2PM with food, drinks and prizes. May 17, 2008- Mercer Lioness Spring Luncheon from 1-4PM at the Mercer Community Center featuring the Von Drake Dancer and musical interludes by the Heavenly Strings. Admission is $12.

May 17, 2008- Mercer Lions Flea Market - every Saturday from 5/17-9/27. 9AM-2PM on Railroad Street next to the Town Hall. Crafts, flea market items, farmers market, and food concessions by the Lions/Lioness. 

May 23-26, 2008. 23rd Annual Memorial Weekend ATV Rally. Poker run, mud pit, music, food, raffles, prizes, great trail riding and more! Click "HERE" for more info. 

May 24, 2008- Mercer Lions Flea Market - every Saturday from 5/17-9/27. 9AM-2PM on Railroad Street next to the Town Hall. Crafts, flea market items, farmers market, and food concessions by the Lions/Lioness. 

May 25, 2008- Pancake Breakfast at the Mercer Senior Center. 8AM-12:30PM. Pancakes, sausage, juice, coffee, or milk. $5/person- kids under 6 are FREE.

May 31, 2008- Mercer Lions Flea Market - every Saturday from 5/17-9/27. 9AM-2PM on Railroad Street next to the Town Hall. Crafts, flea market items, farmers market, and food concessions by the Lions/Lioness. 

June 7, 2008- Lupine Junefest- 8AM-6PM rain or shine. Enjoy the north woods during the blossoming of the wild Lupines.  Hike/Bike Tour ; Chalk drawing contest; photography contest; children's Scavenger hike; classic car show; art/craft fair; information booths; live music; food/beverages; and more! June 21, 2008- Annual Town Wide Rummage Sale 9AM-4PM. Lots of treasures to be found at the many sales around town. Maps will be available the Thursday before. Cost to be placed on the map is $5.00

June 28-July 6, 2008- Trivia/Scavenger hunt sponsored by the Mercer Chamber of Commerce. $10 entry fee and all correctly completed sheets will be entered into a 50/50 raffle drawing. Sheets and list of rules will be available at the Chamber beginning June 28th. 

June 28-July 6, 2008- Jail & Bail fundraiser sponsored by the Mercer Historical Society. 

June 28, 2008- 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament at the Mercer School at 8AM. Sponsored by the BB teams.

June 28, 2008- Woods & Blooms Garden Club Tea from 2-4PM at the Century Pines Pocket Park downtown. Park Dedication from 1:30-2:00PM.

June 28, 2008- Mercer Library Presents- Local historian Bruce Cox will present a about the history of mining.  The Friends of the Mercer Library will also have pasties for sale the day of the event at 12PM (noon).  

June 28, 2008-  Lions Spaghetti dinner at the Mercer Senior Center. 4-7PM

June 28, 2008- Street Dance downtown in front of Around the Corner Pub with live music by Johny Trash along with food, raffles, and prizes. 6-10PM. Sponsored by the Mercer Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Northwoods Tavern League, & Around the Corner Pub.
