April 30, 2008- Early Cinco de Mayo Celebration at the Hideaway . Come join the festivity as they introduce the NEW Mexican menu that will be featured on Wednesday nights with a taste of authentic Mexican food, complimentary chips with homemade salsa, and mouth watering margaritas. May 10, 2008- Annual Mercer Town Clean-up Day starting at 9AM. All downtown residents and business owners are invited to help "Clean Up Downtown" by sprucing up yards, walkways, buildings, and alleyways. . Any individuals wanting to help clean up are welcome too! Join us afterwards at 11:30AM for a complimentary burger at The Pines and bring a dish to pass along with your own beverage. May 17, 2008- Mercer Fire Department Golf Tourney Fundraiser at Tahoe Lynx Golf Course in Mercer. $25/Person, $100/Team. Shotgun start at 2PM with food, drinks and prizes. The Friends of the Mercer Library will also have pasties for sale the day of the event at 12PM (noon). June 28, 2008- Lions Spaghetti dinner at the Mercer Senior Center. 4-7PM June 28, 2008- Street Dance downtown in front of Around the Corner Pub with live music by Johny Trash along with food, raffles, and prizes. 6-10PM. Sponsored by the Mercer Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Northwoods Tavern League, & Around the Corner Pub.
